PRODUMAX THE POWERHOUSE!

Northern Powerhouse Minister Jake Berry visited Produmax earlier this month to meet our team, see how much we’ve achieved and hear first hand how SIG has helped us to secure £50m in long-term contracts and create new jobs.

As part of the “live” initiative Jake Berry took a tour to look at investments made in people, machinery and technology and took questions from our 70-strong team about what the Powerhouse really means to us.  Born and bred in the north, Berry said “The Northern Powerhouse is about creating more highly paid jobs and great careers across the whole of the north, so that our children and grandchildren won’t get the train to London but will stay in the north and work for leading manufacturers like Produmax because it’s the best place to live and has the best jobs”.

Some great questions were asked by the team. Now lets hope he delivers better transport and education for Northern families
