The Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union visited Produmax recently to understand what we do as a business and speak to our staff to discuss the opportunities and concerns surrounding Brexit. 

The visit kicked off with a general introduction about the company before the party headed out to see the business in action.  The tour took in four main areas – the Pit Crew explained how we prepare for the next job to cut downtime; a demonstration of the Lang feeding the DMU 50 Linear machine showed lights out automation;  the Quality team explained the sophisticated methods used to inspect complex parts and Assembly talked through what goes into making up a skew linkage. Stephen Barclay was suitably impressed by everyone he spoke to and commented on what a great team we are. 

He also stayed twice as long as expected as he was so interested.
